F-1 students are required to study full time with the ESL Institute in the fall and spring semester Intensive English Program.Students include U.S. citizens, permanent residents, J-1 au pairs, dependents and others who are not in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa - but desire to improve their English language skills.

The Intensive English Program is for students who are looking for:The General English Programs are for students who are looking for:
Language proficiency test preparation for university studiesPractical, everyday English skills for interaction in the local community.
Intensive courses with homework, exams and ESL transcriptsEnglish skills to improve interaction with children in local schools and their teachers
Fall and spring semesters (15 weeks)6-week terms, 2 hours per week
Classes are held during the day
8:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Classes are held weekday mornings, evenings and Saturday mornings
