The primary mission of the University Advancement Office at Austin Peay State University is to help set the PACE by promoting, advancing, communicating, and enhancing the overall mission of this institution.  We are here to connect and build bridges with our internal and external constituents.  This is done primarily through the offices of Alumni Relations and Development, Athletic Marketing and Promotions, and Public Relations and Publications.  Dedicated staff members in each of these offices manage friend-raising and fund-raising activities, develop award-winning publications and plan special University functions and events.

The University Advancement Division is an integral part of Austin Peay State University. This Division supports programs and events as well as fundraising efforts for academics and athletics. The Public Relations and Publications Office communicates regularly and effectively with internal and external constituents.

This Division is also responsible for receiving, receipting, and acknowledging gifts to the University and the APSU Foundation. Austin Peay is a small university making a big difference.
