Academic Affairs, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Center for Extended and Distance Education co-sponsor Faculty and Staff Explore Experience Excel, which recognizes the importance of the faculty and staff’s in-depth exploration of the E^3 Initiative’s framework and potential, as well as their developing cross-campus relationships for a stronger sense of campus community.
Faculty and Staff Explore Experience Excel offers an opportunity for selected applicants to learn more about the university and neighboring institutions within the framework of existing or potential transformational learning opportunities—both within and beyond the curriculum. Applicants are selected by committee.
Faculty and Staff Explore Experience Excel fosters an exploratory team environment that requires participants to relegate all other campus responsibilities to non-program hours. It is part of the Campus Connection Initiative, which aims to establish sustainable networks that can facilitate cross-campus and off-campus transfers of information and other resources for student, university, and community success.
Program Time Commitment: During Spring 2015, accepted applicants will meet weekly from 1-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays for a campus-led cohort-building program. Additional time obligations include an 8.5-hour program day on the first Tuesday of each month for day trips to other institutions. Accepted applicants will be expected to relegate all other campus obligations to non-program hours.
