Seth Amick

Seth Amick is the guitar instructor for Community School of the Arts and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance at APSU. He began playing the guitar at the age of eleven and has taken lessons since. Graduating from Nashville School of the Arts in 2009 with a guitar focus, Seth now studies classical guitar with Dr. Stanley Yates. He joined the Community School of Arts in the summer of 2012 and previously taught guitar independently. He was awarded the Freeman/Meise Scholarship in spring 2012 from the music department of Austin Peay. Seth has been a member of an Austin Peay guitar quartet for three years and performs as a soloist. He enjoys teaching and is excited to have the chance to share music with others through Community School of the Arts.
