Robin Eckert is a trained and registered Suzuki Violin Instructor. Having taught professionally for ten years, Ms. Eckert is considered one of the Nashville area’s premiere private teachers. Ms. Eckert’s pedagogical study includes Suzuki Teacher Training with Ronda Cole, Edmund Sprunger, and Michele Higa-George as well as traditional study with Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner. Ms. Eckert received her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in violin performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music under the direction of Ik-Hwan Bae and Alexander Kerr. A skilled performer, Ms. Eckert has performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. Ms. Eckert is a board member of the Middle Tennessee Suzuki Association, and maintains Suzuki studios at Austin Peay State University's Community School of the Arts and independently in Nashville, Tennessee.
