Digital SLR Photography (ages 16+)

Is your passion for photography more than just a hobby? Do you have a digital SLR (single lens reflex) camera and want to know more about it? This course is for you. The Digital SLR course is designed for the more serious photographer in mind. You will be taught by award-winning photographer Lois Jones on how to hone your skills through learning your camera, analyzing your work in and out of class, and excellent instruction. A digital SLR camera is required for this course as well as some prior knowledge of photography. However, beginning levels are welcome. You will need your digital SLR camera, a jump drive, a pen/pencil, and paper for this course. Cost of the course covers the printing of your photographs. 

Anyone taking this course might be interested in using your photographs in one of our Graphic Design courses.

This workshop is tailored for the more experienced photographer and for ones that have taken the Digital SLR Photography course previously. The first portion of the workshop will be on a Friday night and will include taking night shots out of doors. The following morning will be further techniques, critiques of the night pictures, and how to get them printer ready.

The remaining balance will be due one week prior to the start of the course unless prior arrangements for additional payments have been made with the CSA office. Please indicate which course/ensemble/workshop you're choosing when making your deposit. You will be notified before the start date to pay your balance. 

*The deposit is non-refundable. In the event the chosen course/ensemble/workshop is canceled or does not meet enrollment requirements your deposit will be refunded.
