Joshua Underwood

Joshua Underwood is a trombonist born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. He went to school at Page Middle and High school, were he developed a driving passion for music. He pursued many honor bands and audition ensembles including the Curb Youth Orchestra and All-State band on both trombone and euphonium. Joshua studied privately with Scott Atchley in high school and continues to study with Susan K. Smith of the Nashville Symphony. Joshua has participated in the universities Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Brass Quintet, Trombone Choir, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Athletic Bands. Joshua continues to be a passionate student of the trombone having been a participant of the 2011 National Brass Symposium and a student worker at the 2011 International Trombone Festival.
