Christopher Groves

Christopher Groves is a guitar instructor with the Austin Peay State University Community School of the Arts and is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Music Education. Christopher began playing guitar in 1984 at the age of nine. While at Austin Peay, Christopher has enjoyed playing with the guitar ensemble led by Dr. Stanley Yates. “I feel a sense of both honor and pride to be a part of the guitar program at Austin Peay. The members of this department are very talented and I have great respect for each and every one of the guitarists.” Christopher loves to play many styles of guitar such as fingerstyle, metal, rock, and classical.
