Carolyn Bunger


Carolyn is a native of Clarksville, Tn.  She is a 1974 graduate of Clarksville High School where she was a member of the Concert Honor Choir, Madrigal Ensemble and All-State Chorus in Tennessee for four years.  She received a music scholarship to Austin Peay State University her senior year, concentrating in voice and piano earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.  She has taught piano and voice for over 34 years in the states of Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida.  In Little Rock, Arkansas she was a choral director and music teacher for Abundant Life Christian School and Arkansas Baptist School system for five years before returning to Tennessee.  Currently, she is teaching piano for Community School of the Arts where she has been a private instructor for nine years.  She is a member of the National Guild for teachers and student musicians. She is married to the Rev. Paul A. Bunger, also a native of Clarksville and they have three sons; Stephen, Joshua and Daniel.  She loves teaching and watching her students develop the gifts they have been given.
