Flower Arranging (ages 18+)

**Additional materials can be purchased during the course at a cost to the student 


Learn the basics of arranging flowers, using various ribbons for bows, wreath making, and working with basic tools. The basic kit of materials will create all the projects in the course. Additional materials can be purchased from the instructor at an additional cost to the student. 

Scrapbooking (ages 18+)

Charlene Allen-Dowdy of Creative Memories will show you the basics of developing a scrapbook that uniquely preserves your most precious memories. This course is designed for scrapbookers of all skill levels. Students will begin with the basics and will be taught page layout, balance and design. The course will cover color confidence, cropping for effect, the importance of journaling and the use of various embellishments and tools. Photo organization and digital scrapbooking will also be reviewed. The basic kit of materials will create all the projects in the course. Additional materials can be purchased from the instructor at an additional cost to the student.

Jewelry Making (ages 18+)

Price: $175 (8 weeks) includes materials**jewelry-making.jpeg

Time: Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm 
Location: Trahern Building Room 420A


Students will learn a variety of jewelry making techniques, common and uncommon materials, and proper use of tools.  Students learn jewelry making techniques by completing in class projects.  Each week will introduce new techniques and styles.  Students will be encouraged to create original jewelry pieces using a mix of the techniques learned.  This course introduces a wide variety of methods for project creation specifically chosen to eliminate the apprehension of the unfamiliar.  The basic kit of materials will create all the projects in the course.  Additional metals, tools, and materials are available for purchase from the instructor at an additional cost to the student.
