Four mainstage productions each year, along with a summer workshop program, offer Austin Peay theatre students a variety of forms and periods of theatre works.  With the help of APSU's talented, experienced faculty, students can obtain their goals in front of the footlights or behind the scenes, as they develop their skills in performance, creativity and professional development.  The department of communication and theatre offers a full range of courses to support the theatre student, including a course in playwriting and courses in radio and video production.  APSU's theatre faculty has provided leadership in the Southeastern Theatre Conference, the nation's largest regional theatre organization.
