Welcome to the Austin Peay College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

We are pleased to welcome you to the Austin Peay College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our mission is to provide you with an innovative and competitive educational experience that prepares you for success in your chosen career.

By continuously developing new programs, we ensure that our offerings remain aligned with the demands of the job market. Some of our newest programs includes computer science, cybersecurity, predictive analytics, engineering physics, veterinary technology, mathematics education, and quantitative analysis—a small sample of our 43 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the College of STEM.

Beyond our diverse programs, we are committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment for students. We believe that a well-rounded education is not confined to the classroom alone. That is why we have created opportunities for you to connect with faculty and student leaders through our various student organizations.

We strive to cultivate a strong community to support your journey toward future success from the beginning. Engaging in campus activities, such as our Academic Rush inspired by Greek Rush Week, is encouraged. Austin Peay stands out from its peers by offering numerous undergraduate research opportunities. Interested students can actively participate in on-campus labs, gaining invaluable research experience under the guidance of esteemed faculty. Many students have leveraged these experiences to showcase their research regionally at events like Posters at the Capitol or nationally and internationally with support from prestigious institutions such as the National Science Foundation. Additionally, through events like our annual Innovation Experience or STEM Scholars program, we ensure all students have the chance to present their work among peers in a familiar setting on campus.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our programs and degree offerings, I would be delighted to meet with you personally. Let's discuss how CoSTEM can support you in achieving your academic and career goals. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a meeting at your convenience.
