Career Night

Career Night Fall 2012 was well attended by area high school students and AP students.  This night is designed for students to learn more about career options in the sciences, health and mathematics.  Each Fall the College of Science & Mathematics invities alumni and local professionals to join faculty in presenting what it will take to become a medical doctor, a dentist, a veterniarian, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a physican's assistant, a pharmacist, or optometrist.  In addition, there are session that explore career options for math, computer science, physics, biology, chemistry, agriculture, geography, geology, engineering, medical laboratory science and radiological sciences.  AP student groups come to present their club's missions and activities and Admissions and Financial Aid are available to help get high school student more one on one information about coming to APSU.  Parents of high school students are encouraged to attend, as well as, their student is exploring career options.
