CompTIA A+ students will learn network connectivity issues, mobile device hardware, networking and troubleshooting hardware, and PC hardware and peripherals. Course covers iOS, Android, Apple OS X and Linux, security, the fundamentals of cloud computing and operational procedures, and installing and configuring operating systems including Windows.

This course will include hands-on practice to install, build, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. You will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the following tasks on personal computer hardware and operating systems: installation, PC building, system upgrades, repair, and system configuration. Upon completion of this in classroom course, the students will be prepared to take the CompTIA A+ 1001 and 1002 certification exams.
CompTIA A+ exam is a globally recognized industry standard for establishing an IT career. CompTIA A+ Core Series 220-1001 exam and 220-1002 exam cover expanded content on growing IT support role including expanded baseline security topics. The certification provides a different approach to define competency in operational procedures including basic disaster prevention, recovery, and scripting basics and a greater dependency on networking and device connectivity.
