Jim Spriggle assists the university with budgeting,
organizing, planning, coordinating and controlling the operations of the
telecommunications systems.He evaluates
and recommends services and equipment dealing with voice/data communication for
the university.Mr. Spriggle also coordinates
department activities toward short and long-term objectives.The job also requires him to maintain necessary contact with Public
Services Commission, and/or Federal Communications Commission, and initiate any
licensing and contract requests.He
conducts system design, supervises installation, and maintains CCTV systems and
Distant Learning facilities.Lastly,
he assists the president in securing private support and financing for the
systems.
