Application Deadline Date for Fall Semester 2013: August 1, 2013

Please adhere to your intended graduate program for additional important application materials and required submission dates

Regular admission status will be granted to applicants who have submitted all official documents and have met the admission requirements for the program in which they intend to major.

Conditional admission status may be granted to applicants who have submitted unofficial documents and have met the admission requirements for the program in which they intend to major.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to submit official undergraduate transcripts and departmental entrance exams by the 10th day after the first day of the main campus semester or the sixth day of the Fort Campbell term in which the student has applied.   If official documents are not received, all classes will be dropped.

Submit letters of recommendation, personal statement, and unofficial documents such as unofficial transcripts and test scores to the graduate coordinator. Application, official GRE scores, and official transcripts should be mailed to Graduate Admissions.

NOTE: In order for a document to be considered official, the document must be mailed directly from the originating office to the Graduate Admissions office.

A concentration in childhood literacy reading is available.

Program Requirements

 Choose from (1) a concentration in health leadership with a public health education path, (2) a health leadership concentration with a health administration path or (3) a specialization in sports and wellness leadership. The health leadership concentration with a health administration path is offered completely online.

Social Work (M.S.W.)

Program Requirements

Enrollment for the Social Work program is limited. Review of completed applications, which includes all required supporting documentation, begins March 1.  Once available admission slots are filled, additional admission applications will not be accepted.  All application materials should be submitted as early as possible. Completed admission packets should include the application for graduate admission to Austin Peay, MSW Application, all official transcripts, official GRE scores, and three acceptable recommendation letters. 

IF seeking readmittance, you must receive approval from the Social Work committee before you are eligible to take courses.
