Financial Aid, Assistantships and Fellowships

Graduate assistant positions are offered in a number of departments on campus. Working an average of 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, graduate assistants earn a semi-monthly stipend totaling $2,587 per semester. Work hours are somewhat flexible depending on the needs of the department. Appointments are valid for one academic year. You must reapply for an assistantship each year.

Office of Financial Aid

Only a few graduate assistantship positions are available at any given time; therefore, you may need to pursue another avenue of financial support for graduate school. The Office of Financial Aid can assist you in the process of applying for student loans.
