Dr Little spent 32 years in the energy industries working as a chemical, mechanical and petroleum engineer.  His research interests involve all aspects of alternative energy production and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) mitigation with special emphasis on carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and sequestration.  He is a licensed professional engineer (Texas).

Before joining Austin Peay State University, Mr. Hall spent ten years working in the biofuels industry. His responsibilites while working in the industry included lab management, EHS management, all aspects of project management including process design, budgeting, and project supervising. His current research interests are using heterogeneous catalysts in the production of biodiesel, including the retooling and start-up of biodiesel production at APSU. He also manages the ChET Pilot Plant. He is a licensed professional engineer (Tennessee).
