Mission of the Newsletter Committee: To provide an encompassing vein of knowledge into APSU's IMA student chapter, by providing on a periodic basis (monthly) information on current or upcoming events taking place on the local, Nashville, and National levels. |
| The newsletter should be able to keep members up to date on current issues affecting the chapter as well as our normal meeting schedule. |
| The newsletter shall be prepared in two forms: an electronically communicated form (email) as well as a hard copy. |
| A newsletter is a key element to any growing organization. It relates pertinent information to members in a quick and useful manner. Being that meeting times and social events are not compatible with everyone's schedule, a newsletter is a great way to keep everyone involved. |
| This committee gives you a great way to become involved in the infrastructure of this magnificent chapter. By being part of this committee you will be key in the degree of success we are able to expand this organization to. |
| Being in offices or on committees looks great on a resume. Being on the newsletter committee will show a lot to a potential employer. It shows computer skills, an understanding of various software, reliability, creativity, and leadership. |
| Mission of the Community Service Committee: Brainstorm and implement ideas relating to school community service. Encourage IMA members to give back to the community. |
| Mission of the Web Committee: The purpose for the web committee is to provide vital information to members and non-members about the Austin Peay State University IMA student chapter. |
| The responsibilities of this committee include: updating information regarding monthly events in which the organization has plans to participate, providing a detailed memo about the monthly meeting, and scanning pictures for the picture gallery page. |
| The web committee can be an effective tool in recruitment of future IMA members. |
| Mission of the Social Committee: Help plan social activities for Austin Peay's IMA. Encourage member involvement while making IMA enjoyable. |
| Mission of the Public Relations Committee: Release announcements to local publications including the Allstate. Design and display flyers announcing upcoming activities IMA will be having and maintaining IMA's bulletin board. |
| Mission of the Historian Committee: Take pictures and videotape IMA's activities. The historian committee is also responsible for IMA's yearbook which consists of activities and accomplishments of the student chapter. |
