Welcome to Austin Peay! APSU 1000 is a freshmen seminar course that is designed to prepare you for your future years at Austin Peay. I hope that each of you takes this opportunity to not only discover your individual passions within business, but also your personal interests outside the classroom.
Austin Peay is the place to be! We have exceptional faculty members and staff who are supportive of the students. We also have an advising center that is focused and dedicated to getting students graduated by completing courses that prepare them for life after college.
If your concentration is Marketing, Management, or General Business, then I am your academic advisor! If Accounting, Finance, Economics, or International Management is what you’re studying, your advisor is Ms. Margaret Douglas.
I hope that you take advantage of all of the wonderful opportunities that are here at the Austin Peay College of Business. Get involved in student organizations and become a leader on campus but do not forget the reason you are here, to better yourself through education.
