Distribution of the two Echinacea species: Echinacea angustifolia is a widespread prairie species which occurs from Texas to southern Canada.  In contrast, Echinacaea tennesseensis is found in only in the distinctive cedar glade habitat in a few sites near Nashville, Tennessee. Back to web page
