2015 - 2016 Art Department Scholarships
The scholarship deadline for 2016 - 2017 is March 1, 2016 at 4 pm. Portfolios must be submitted electronically through the scholarship application portal with Financial Aid.
General Portfolio Guidelines:
The most important part of your scholarship application is your portfolio; it gives the faculty a clear idea of your potential abilities as a visual artist. Think of it as the basic foundation of your scholarship application. It is in light of this work that we will consider the other parts of your application.

A number of scholarship and financial aid opportunities are available for art majors.
Application for all scholarships, including art scholarships, is through the APSU Financial Aid Office website.
Art Department specific scholarships are available for incoming freshmen, returning and transfer art students. Many art scholarships are based on student portfolios and academic performance; some scholarships may require a written essay. Each scholarship has a specific application accompanied by the specific requirements needed to apply. The art faculty determine art scholarship awards.
