APSU hosting foreign language career night on Oct. 24

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Being able to speak a second language is something worth bragging about, but can it help you get a job? According to the website topuniversities.com, graduates with degrees in foreign languages “have long been in demand across many sectors of business and industry.”

At 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, the Austin Peay State University foreign language faculty will host a career night in the Morgan University Center Ballroom to discuss the advantages of pursuing a foreign language degree in an increasingly globalized society.
