APSU career services welcomes Amazon to campus

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University’s Office of Career Services welcomed Amazon to campus in September 2016. The University was among the first 12 schools from across the country selected to participate in Amazon’s new Warrior Ambassador Program.

Through this program, the company’s Warrior Ambassadors (military veterans that work at Amazon) will visit the veteran centers and career centers at universities located near Amazon fulfillment centers across the nation.

As part of this program, APSU student veterans will:

Through this program, the company’s Warrior Ambassadors (military veterans that work at Amazon) will visit the veteran centers and career centers at universities located near Amazon fulfillment centers across the nation.

As part of this program, APSU student veterans will:

            • Receive encouragement to complete their degrees. 


            • Prepare for jobs after their transition and graduation. 


            • Grow their professional networks by connecting with mentors. 


            • Gain insights from other veterans who understand the transition process. 


            • Build relationships that will lead to internal recommendations for jobs from 
Amazon leaders.

Amazon will return to the Morgan University Center from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2016.
