Hailed by BBC Radio 3 as “a real poet of the piano,” Tyson is emerging as a distinctive and important new musical voice. In summer 2015, he was awarded First Prize at the Géza Anda Competition in Zürich, as well as the Mozart and Audience Prizes. These victories resulted in performances of upwards of 100 concerts throughout Europe over the course of the next three years under the auspices of the Géza Anda Foundation.

In addition to the CCCA and the music department, the event is sponsored by the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, The Leaf-Chronicle and the Tennessee Arts Commission. Tickets are free for APSU students with a student I.D. Tickets are available at www.clarksvillemusic.org, or at 1-877-811-0200.
