A screening of the HBO produced documentary “VDay: Until the Violence Stops” will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6 in the Morgan University Center, Room 308. The screening is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.

The documentary follows V-Day in five international communities while exposing the pervasive cultural forms of violence that women experience all over the world.

“I think the DVD ‘Until the Violence Stops' is important because it chronicles the work Eve Ensler, and the V-Day campaign, has accomplished by raising awareness about the danger of not speaking out about violence against women and girls. The DVD also gives communities hope and courage to take action in their daily lives,” said Dr. Jill Eichhorn, coordinator of the women's studies program at APSU.
