Michael Winship, a four-time nominee for the Writers Guild of America Award, will present a workshop on Nov. 14 as part of the Fall 2003 Guest Workshop Series.

Winship has written and produced for many of the nation's premier networks, including A&E, CBS, PBS, Lifetime, Discovery, The Learning Channel and the Disney Channel. He co-writes “NOW” with Bill Moyers and writes a syndicated weekly column for New York's Messenger Post newspapers. He also is senior creative consultant for a PBS “American Experience” documentary about anarchist Emma Goldman.

The workshop, which is being sponsored by the department of communication and theatre, will begin at 4 p.m. in Trahern 220. It is free and open to the public. For further information, telephone 6259.
