Treat that special someone to a ‘Valentine Showcase'

The Clarksville Community Concert Association, in cooperation with Austin Peay State Universitys Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, presents Valentine Showcase.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall.

“Valentine Showcase” will include performances by Dr. Thomas King, tenor and professor of music; Dr. Sharon Mabry, mezzo-soprano and professor of music; Valerie Oyen-Larsen, mezzo-soprano; Dr. Gail Robinson-Oturu, soprano and chair of the music department; and Richard Steffen, trumpet and professor of music. The concert also will include surprise guest artists.

Complimentary light refreshments will be served after the concert.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for students. APSU students with a valid ID can attend for free. There will be a reduced rate for groups of 10 or more. For ticket information, telephone (931) 221-7644.
