Three faculty initiated into national leadership honor society

Dr. Susan Calovini, professor of English, Lt. Col. Patrick OHara, professor of military science, and Comdr. Catherine Settle, assistant professor of nursing, have been inducted into Austin Peays circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a national leadership honor society.

The three were initiated Monday, Nov. 24, along with 17 students.

Faculty, staff, administrator and alumni member selections are based on exemplary character, superior scholarship and intelligence, responsible leadership, good citizenship and dedication to democratic ideals. December 9, 2003


Dr. Susan Calovini, professor of English, Lt. Col. Patrick O'Hara, professor of military science, and Comdr. Catherine Settle, assistant professor of nursing, have been inducted into Austin Peay's circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a national leadership honor society.

The three were initiated Monday, Nov. 24, along with 17 students.

Faculty, staff, administrator and alumni member selections are based on exemplary character, superior scholarship and intelligence, responsible leadership, good citizenship and dedication to democratic ideals.

ODK is a national leadership honor society, with circles on 269 college and university campuses. The APSU circle of ODK was established as a local organization in 1977, becoming part of the national organization in 1979.
