Tennessee Tech to offer degree in Web design

February 11, 2003

Tennessee Technical University in Cookeville will offer a bachelor's degree in Web design beginning in fall. The degree will be the first of its kind in the state.

Bob Clougherty, an associate professor of English, will oversee the program. In an article in Sunday's "Tennessean," Claugherty said the program will bring together existing courses in the arts and sciences, communications, business and computer science. He expects the program to graduate 20 students per year once it's established.
