Symphonic Band in concert Feb. 21

The Austin Peay State University Department of Music and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will present a concert featuring the APSU Symphonic Band.

Under the direction of Andrea Brown, assistant band director at APSU, the concert will start at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The performance will feature works such as “New Wade ‘n Water” by Adolphus Hailstork, “Aquarium” by Johan de Meij, “Theme from Green Bushes” by Percy Aldridge Grainger and arranged by Larry Daehn, “Scootin' on Hardrock” by David R. Holsinger and “The Gladiator March” by John Philip Sousa.
