Students, alums invited to Nashville Career Fairs

Juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni of APSU are eligible to attend the Nashville Career Fairs.

The event, which features three simultaneous career fairs, will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, in the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Creative Arts Building, 500 Wedgewood Ave., Nashville.

The Teacher Recruitment Fair will offer representatives from 116 school systems. Guests will be able to meet recruiters, compare school systems and be interviewed on the spot.

During the Graduate and Professional Fair, college juniors and seniors can make personal contacts with representatives from 30 participating graduate and professional programs.

Attendees are reminded to dress professionally and bring copies of their resume.

No one will be admitted without a ticket. Tickets are free and available at the APSU Career and Advisement Center, located in room 210 of the University Center.

The Nashville Career Fairs are sponsored by the Nashville Area University Career Fair Consortium, which includes APSU, Aquinas, Athens State, Belmont, Cumberland, David Lipscomb, Fisk, Martin Methodist, Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, Trevecca, UT Space Institute, University of the South, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky.
