Student appointed as TISL justice

An Austin Peay State University student has been named as a justice for the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL).

Megan Garrett, a sophomore from Dickson, is among five college students across the state appointed to the court from a list of recommended applicants. She joins APSUs Student Government Association President Chris Drew, who serves as TISL secretary, in providing leadership on the state level.

At APSU, Garrett serves on the SGA Student Tribunal, is a member of Chi Omega Women's Fraternity and serves as an orientation assistant. -- Melony A. Jones
