Second AP Day slated for Nov. 3

For prospective high school students and their parents who missed AP Day last Saturday, Oct. 20, officials have scheduled a second AP Day on Nov. 3.
According to Ryan Forsythe, director of admissions, more than 500 people attended AP Day on Saturday, Oct. 20, including 224 prospective high school students and 277 parents.

“It was a great day,” Forsythe said. “Almost every academic department was represented. We heard a lot of positive comments from parents and students.” AP Day activities on Saturday, Nov. 3, begin at 11 a.m. and conclude about 4:30 p.m., with lunch provided free. Besides campus tours, participants will receive information about financial aid, scholarships, housing and campus life. There will be separate sessions for parents and for students. -- Dennie B. Burke
