School of Nursing plans learning events

The Austin Peay State University School of Nursing has scheduled a number of learning opportunities for faculty, staff and students.

Debbie Tipton Winters, assistant professor of nursing, said each speaker or venue will showcase services that could have local and global implications.

Here is the schedule:
• 8 a.m.-noon, March 29, McCord Building, Room 221: U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

• 8 a.m.-noon, April 5, McCord 221: Tennessee National Guard Counter Drug Mobile Training Unit.
• 1-4:30 p.m., April 5, McCord 221: National Center for Emergency Preparedness.
• 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., April 12, Tennessee Air National Guard at Barry Field: 118th Aero Medical Evacuation Squadron with the Tennessee Air National Guard.
