SACS shakes up Auburn

According to AL.com, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) has placed Auburn University on a years probation, stopping one step short of pulling its accreditation. SACS said Auburn violated five different parts of its accrediting standards, stemming from charges that trustees are involved inappropriately in the schools day-to-day business.

As most of you know, SACS is Austin Peays accreditation agency, too.
