Record-breaking 118 students named to Athletics Director's Honor Roll

For the third time in six semesters, the APSU athletics department broke its record for student-athletes named to the Athletics Directors Honor Roll.

Last fall, 118 student-athletes earned a spot–posting a 3.0 or better GPA for Fall 2004, the highest single-semester total in school history, breaking the record (116) set in Fall 2002.

Last fall, 118 student-athletes earned a spot—posting a 3.0 or better GPA for Fall 2004, the highest single-semester total in school history, breaking the record (116) set in Fall 2002.

Six of the department's 17 teams posted a 3.0 GPA for the semester, with women's rifle leading all teams with a 3.303 GPA. The other five teams were women's volleyball (3.168), men's tennis (3.090), women's golf (3.081), women's soccer (3.071) and softball (3.000). The entire athletic department posted a 2.689 GPA during the fall semester.
