Dr. Harvey Blanck, professor emeritus of chemistry, Dr. Willodean Burton, professor of biology, Dr. Edward Chester, professor emeritus of biology, Dr. Chin-Zue Chen, professor of engineering technology, Dr. James X. Corgan, professor emeritus of geology, Dr. Adel Salama, professor of electronics technology, and Dr. A. Floyd Scott, professor of biology, made presentations during the Tennessee Academy of Science Symposia, Nov. 18-19, at Columbia State Community College. Scott is a member of the TAS Financial Oversight Committee. Dr. Stuart Bonnington, professor of psychology, has been elected to serve a second term as president of the Tennessee Board for Professional Counselors, Licensed Marital and Family Therapists and Clinical Pastoral Therapists.

Professor Emeritus of English Malcolm Glass is participating in the ARTZ exhibit on display at Café 541, 541 Franklin St.

Professor of Art Cindy Marsh and Assistant Professor of Art Ken Shipley went to the "Memphis National Portfolio Day," which was held Nov. 7 at the Memphis College of Art. APSU was one of the only state universities represented. According to Shipley, the students who sought information from Austin Peay were attracted by the quality of education of the art department and the programs supported by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts.
