Professor of Art Susan Bryants photographs taken during a recent mission trip to Mexico will be highlighted during a Nov. 27 silent auction and fundraiser at the Downtown Artists Co-op Gallery, 96 Franklin St. Proceeds will go to the continued mission work of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Chiapis, Mexico.

Dr. John Butler, professor emeritus of biology, autographed the latest edition of Historic Clarksville, which he edited, during The Right Places Nov. 13 Celebrity Clarksville event.

Kristy Galbraith, adviser to The All State, attended the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) National College Media Convention Nov. 4-6 in Nashville.

Dr. Bruce Myers, professor of computer science, Dr. Jiang Li, assistant professor of computer science, Dr. Nancy Smithfield, assistant professor of computer science, and Dr. Jim Vandergriff, associate professor of computer science, attended the Association For Computing Machinery (ACM) Mid-Southeast Conference Nov. 11-12 in Gatlinburg. Li and Smithfield judged the Student Paper Contest, and Vandergriff served as a session chair.
