Joe Mills, director of housing/residence life and dining services, and Eric Provost, director of public safety, were invited to speak at Hopkinsville Community College on Nov. 5. The topic discussed was “How to Prepare Your Campus for Emergencies.” Mills shared his experience with the 1999 tornado and campus issues; Provost shared strategies for preparing a campus for disasters.

Dr. Carmen Reagan, professor of marketing and director of leadership studies, has been appointed to a five-person task force to study the economic progress of Aspire Clarksville and determine the feasibility of a third economic development and marketing program.

Twenty-two participants in the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA of Austin Peay State University are featured in the statewide publication, “TECTA Treasures.” The publication is distributed to legislators, the state Department of Human Services, advisory committee members and prospective students, according to Linda Sitton, APSU-TECTA director.
