Dr. Ramon Magrans, professor of languages and literature, has been awarded an Outstanding RODP Online Instructor award from the Tennessee Board of Regents. The annual awards are given as a result of student surveys, staff recommendations, service contributions and overall commitment to improve and enhance teaching and learning online.

A review of Joachim C. Fest's book, "Speer: The final verdict" by Dr. Dewey Browder was published in the May 2003 issue of "Choice" a journal dedicated to library science.

A review of Joachim C. Fest's book, "Speer: The final verdict" by Dr. Dewey Browder was published in the May 2003 issue of "Choice" a journal dedicated to library science.

Dr. Gregory Zieren, associate professor of history, presented a paper entitled "Labor and Technology at the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1867" at the 28th annual Economic and Business Historical Society conference in Memphis. Zieren also chaired a session on indentured labor at the conference.
