Darren V. Michael, assistant professor of directing and acting, will be presenting a workshop for high school students on improvisation technique at the Tennessee Theatre Association Fall Convention, Oct. 24-28 in Jackson. Michael also will serve as a festival respondent for the Arkansas Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Nov. 6-10 in Conway, Ark.

Kimberly Scott, manager in University Advancement, and Sharon Silva, director of development also in University Advancement, presented a seminar during the Second Annual Tennessee Summit on Administrative Computing Technologies, Oct. 15-16 at Middle Tennessee State University. The title of their presentation was “Our Favorite Pop Sels,” which helped participants to understand the Banner software system more effectively.

Dr. Stephen A. Truhon, assistant professor of psychology, presented a paper, titled “Norming the DEOMI Organizational Climate Survey” at the International Military Testing Association conference Oct. 8-12 at Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
