Plaudits

Marsha Lyle-Gonga and Sharon Conner were presenters at the Joint Fall Conference of the Kentucky Association of Educational Opportunity for Program Personnel (KAEOPP) and the Tennessee Association for Special Programs (TASP) from Oct. 9-12 in Louisville, Ky. They presented The Effects of Peer Mentoring and Group Team Participation on Upward Bound Retention.

John Howard also presented Motivating and Strengthening TRIO Families: Increasing Parental Involvement at the conference.

They presented “The Effects of Peer Mentoring and Group Team Participation on Upward Bound Retention.”

Additionally, High School Upward Bound student Kelvin Rutledge was awarded the TASP Upward Bound Merit scholarship and Joy Pigott, Educational Opportunity Center participant, was awarded the TASP Adult Learner scholarship.
