Plaudits

On Friday, Nov. 18, Dr. Ellen Kanervo, professor of mass communication, and Dr. Weiwu Zhang, assistant professor of mass communication, presented two papers at the Midwest Association for Public Opinion Research (MAPOR) in Chicago. The paper titles are Mass Media, Interpersonal and Institutional Trust and Participation and Theorizing Social Capital and Civic Engagement. The first paper was based on a survey of Montgomery County, conducted in Fall 2004 by Kanervos students.
