Pi Nu recognized as one of top 25 chapters worldwide

Austin Peays chapter of Sigma Delta Pi has been named one of the top 25 in the nation.

Pi Nu, a Hispanic culture honor society, was selected as one of Sigma Delta Chis Merit and Honors Chapters 2003-04. There are approximately 2,500 chapters worldwide.

APSUs chapter also was awarded a Certificate of Honor and Merit for its work on behalf of Hispanics and promoting Hispanic issues. This included sponsoring a young man in an orphanage in Miacatlan, Mexico, teaching English to Hispanics in Montgomery County and hosting Hispanic Awareness Month activities.
