Percussion Ensemble to perform tonight

The Austin Peay State University Department of Music and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will host a concert featuring the Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of David Steinquest, professor of music.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 1 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The performance will feature works such as “Oblivion” by Astor Piazzolla, “African Sketches” by J. Kent Williams, “Normandy Beach” by David R. Gillingham, “4/4 for Four” by Anthony J. Cirone, “Chorale for Marimba Quintet” by Robert E. Resseger, “Suite for Percussion” by William Kraft and “Montunosis” by Paul Jebe.
