Patricia Halbeck, Patsy Wade to perform

Austin Peay State University presents Patricia Halbeck, professor of music, and Patsy Wade in a concert of piano ensemble.

The piano recital, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 13 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall.

Halbeck and Wade have performed together on a regular basis at APSU for many years. The recital will begin with piano duets by Schubert and Debussy and will be accompanied by paintings that reflect the musical moods.

The performance will continue with two virtuosic works by Rachmaninoff and Milhaud written for two pianos.

Halbeck notes, “The visual highlights for this concert add an emotional intensity to an enjoyable evening of piano ensemble music.”
