Ogbonna-McGruder to participate at Oxford University Roundtable

Dr. Chinyere Ogbonna-McGruder, assistant professor of public management, has been selected to join about 40 other international educators as a participant at a Roundtable July 10-15 at Oxford University, England.

The Oxford Roundtable was established as a colloquium for small groups of academic, government and business leaders to engage in discussions that affect states and nations.

The Oxford Roundtable was established as a colloquium for small groups of academic, government and business leaders to engage in discussions that affect states and nations.

At the July 2005 Roundtable, which will focus on education law and legal issues, Ogbonna-McGruder will present a paper titled “Segregation and the Denial of Opportunity: Revisiting Brown v the Board of Education 50 Years Later.”

Oxford Roundtable participants include ministers of education, legislators, governors, corporate business leaders, university presidents, lawyers and physicians.
