Goldhuber will present his one-man show, “When the World Smells Like Bacon, and Other Works.” The title piece is a meditation on families, Judaism and being fat. Goldhuber, a former Bill T. Jones actor and dancer famous for his 350-pound weight, turns such everyday topics into unassuming, first-rate theater with a surprising edge of poignancy.

Tickets are on sale at the Trahern Theatre box office by calling (931) 221-7379. For more information, call Marcus Hayes, assistant professor of theater and dance, at (931) 221-6371. -- Jessica Baird
