Nominations, submissions sought for Graduate Education Week, April 2-6

Graduate Education Week in Tennessee is April 2-6, as proclaimed by Gov. Phil Bredesen.

To prepare for the weeks activities, the APSU College of Graduate Studies is asking deans to nominate a graduate student whose research could be presented at a poster presentation Wednesday, April 4 at the Legislative Plaza, Nashville. Nominations must be submitted today by e-mail to Dr. Charles Pinder, dean of the College of Graduate Studies, at pinderc@apsu.edu.

To prepare for the week's activities, the APSU College of Graduate Studies is asking deans to nominate a graduate student whose research could be presented at a poster presentation Wednesday, April 4 at the Legislative Plaza, Nashville. Nominations must be submitted today by e-mail to Dr. Charles Pinder, dean of the College of Graduate Studies, at pinderc@apsu.edu.

Submissions need to include the name of the student presenter, university/college classification (master's student), title of presentation, abstract of 75-100 words and major professor or adviser.

The College of Graduate Studies will work with a committee from the Graduate and Research Council to select one student to represent APSU.

Each school or department at APSU is asked to share graduate student activities planned during Graduate Education Week. A calendar of all the activities will be posted on the College of Graduate Studies Web site. Submit such items to Pinder.
